Named by founder Margaret Wells, whose motto was "pure materials, pure methods, pure results." Started in a mountain workshop where she hand-cut every pattern and stitched every seam herself. Her daughter Kate now runs the operation with the same obsessive attention to quality—full-grain leather, waxed thread, hand-set hardware. 40 years of refusing to cut corners.
